Still planting. About half the garden is filled with transplants now, and we're looking to fill up the rest fairly quickly...

Lots of Lettuce!
wow! the first market of the season was a great success! Huge crowd, and we had plenty of lettuce to go around. We'll have much the same fair this week, lettuce, salad mix, a few herbs, some cut flowers, and transplants. I'm going to try and fit a few apple trees in the van this week as well - they are looking well, and some have even bloomed this year.

Mollie, it was great to see you at the Flat Rock market. We tried the fabulous lettuce hearts last night, and they were just as perfect and buttery as you described! We will try the shiitake samples today...
