Horray for the rain! We received over an inch. Now if it will just keep that up...
We still have plenty of Elizabeth's salad mix! All orders this week will be filled before Friday, as we're celebrating my birthday Friday and then will be out of town until after Christmas. So, updates next week are unlikely.
I have been doing a lot of planning recently for next year, to have a continued supply of produce throughout as much of the year as possible, based on what works for us to grow and also on your feedback from this year (please continue to feel free to let us know what you think!). We really appreciate your faithful interest and business and are looking very much foward to working with you again next year! While I really enjoy working indoors on planning during cold, cold mornings, I can hardly wait for spring!!

I planted about 3 pounds of garlic last weekend -- so we're expecting a greatly multiplied yield of Oregon Blue and Lorz Italian garlic next year!
This week, I still have Elizabeth's tasty late fall salad mix, although in simplified version--I'm running low of some of the spicier components. Hope everyone liked it last week! I'm still working on my seed planting plans for next year, and am planning to incorporate that mix as well.

Greetings from the farm!
We tried a new type of salad mix for dinner last weekend from what is still growing in the garden, and it was quite good! We thought the flavors were well-matched, mild, and pleasing, and everything had a leafy texture (no tough cabbage leaves). There was the slight minty taste of the corn salad, the slightly mustardy flavor of the asian greens, and the slightly peppery flavor of the Chinese cabbage; we also added a few small red mustard leaves to the mix to give it a little spice. It was a great hit--didn't even get the salad dressing made before it was gone! It's our own blend of ingredients (as far as we know), so we named it after my sister, and we're offering it as the first item available below:
