November 27 - December 1

Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving! I know we enjoyed it. Plus, when we read the rain gauge Monday, it said 2inches!!!

I planted a few more new heirloom apple tree seedlings just before the holidays, which brought our total of apple trees seedlings up to 9 now, plus the two old trees of unknown variety that usually bear. Can't wait till our new trees start bearing in a few years.

Just a few items available this week.

1.50 - chinese cabbage, lettucy type; tastes like a cross between lettuce and cabbage, not too peppery, and only a little thicker than a lettuce leaf; only a couple available this week.

1.00 - corn salad; a green leaf with a little bit of a mustardy taste, good in salads;
